The European Public Health Association
The European Public Health Association, or EUPHA in short, is an
umbrella organisation for public health associations in Europe. EUPHA
was founded in 1992. EUPHA is an international, multidisciplinary,
scientific organisation, bringing together around 12000 public
health experts for professional exchange and collaboration throughout
Europe. We encourage a multidisciplinary approach to public
health.
Our Objectives
To promote and strengthen public health research and practice in Europe.
To improve communication between policymakers, researchers and practitioners.
To provide a platform for the exchange of information, experience and research.
To encourage and promote effective European joint research and other activities in the field of

The next EUPHA conference is themed 'i-health' and will be held in Lisbon, Portugal on the 6-8th of November 2008.

The 2011 EUPHA conference will be organised by the Danish Society of Public Health in Copenhagen, Denmark from 10-12 November 2011. The main theme of the conference is: Public health and welfare - welfare development and health.
